As the day of the move is creeping towards the Campbell family, I would like to give my sincere appreciation to everyone and every family that has congratulated us on our move and wished us best of luck. I would especially like to recognize those that threw us "Bon Voyage" parties, including the Judge/Dorman family, and the Nataro/Stephens family.

Final B-days in the USA

I am both excited and sorry to say that these upcoming birthdays on July 18th and August 1st will be our last in the United States, as we begin the next chapter of our lives. However, there will most likely only be two years of birthdays held in our new home in Kampala, Uganda in Africa, while the rest of our lives will probably be decided in the U.S.

Thank you to everyone who has already commented on this blog and please continue. As for those who haven't, you are more than welcome to comment, as well as read these posts. I hope for many more posts, and comments on those posts, to come.

SHOTS!!!

Due to the amount of disease in Africa, the Campbell family will have to take a number of shots to help prevent us from getting sick. These include vaccines for Hepatitis A, Tetanus, and Meningococcus. Although it was a bit scary for the two youngest in the family, we got through it very well, and will hopefully be happy with the end results, anticipating that we don't get sick. My family and I will also probably be taking Malaria Prophalaxis for the entire time that we stay in Uganda. These are pills to reduce your chances of becoming sick. Finally, I would like to give thanks to our ultra-cool pediatrition, Dr. Crawford, for helping us figure out what types of shots we would need for our "move".

Don't forget to PACK!

With only about two weeks left where my family and I can prepare for our move, we begin to pack.

As you can see it is still a work in progress.

Countdown to "The Move"

The Campbell family is closing in on our trip to Kampala, Uganda in Africa. Vacations and parties with friends and family occur 24/7. Since today is July, 8 2007, there is about 1 month until our adventure.

I guess I'll see you guys in 2009 as a Sophomore in High School.
